Assessment of HIV and Sexual and Reproductive Health in Prisons in Tanzania

EPIMAT Consulting was excited to work with a consultant for United Nations Office of Drugs and Crime in Tanzania to assess the availability of comprehensive HIV and Sexual and Reproductive Health Services in 13 prisons (10 regions) in Tanzania. We trained research assistants and deployed to Arusha, Dar es Salaam, Dodoma, Iringa, Kagera, Kilimanjaro, Mbeya, Morogoro, Mtwara and Mwanza. Using the Open Data Kit (https://opendatakit.org/) for data collection made data collection easier, faster and assured data quality.
